WABASSO — Deputies took two people into custody when they found several marijuana plants in their home Monday, according to affidavits.
The Indian River County Sheriff's Office obtained a search warrant for the home in the Wabasso Mobile Home Park in the 8100 block of U.S. 1. Deputies charged Brian Hunter, 52, and Denise Runion, 45, with cultivation of marijuana.
Deputies also recovered $2,800 in cash and a Kel-Tec .223 pistol from the home during the 4:30 p.m. search.
Hunter was being held in lieu of $7,500 bail at the Indian River County Jail on Tuesday. Runion was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.
