Indian River County is experiencing problems with some of its 911 lines.
The county's fire rescue department says that as of 3 p.m., some callers may not get connected to the dispatch center.
Until the problem is corrected, those in need of emergency assistance are asked to call the Sheriff's Dispatch Center at (772) 978-6240 or Vero Beach Dispatch at (772) 978-4605.
All lines are expected to be back to normal operation soon, according to the press release from the fire rescue department.
