INDIAN RIVER COUNTY -- Two people were injured, one seriously, in a rollover accident involving three vehicles on the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 near Vero Beach, according to Assistant Chief Brian Burkeen, spokesman for Indian River County Fire Rescue.
He said weather prevented fire rescue from flying the one seriously injured person to Lawnwood Medical Center. The second person was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The accident, which temporarily closed all northbound lanes of the interstate, happened around 4:09 p.m., about three miles south of the State Road 60 exit, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
