Deputies continued Thursday afternoon looking for a "scruffy" suspect who robbed Seacoast National Bank.
The man was described as a 5 feet, 5 inches tall white male who was 30 to 35 years old with a mustache. He walked into the bank in the 1200 block of U.S. 1 about 9:22 a.m. Thursday, the Indian River County Sheriff's Office said. The suspect demanded cash and said he had a gun, but did not show one during the robbery.
The man left on foot. No getaway vehicle was reported, the Sheriff's Office said.
The suspect was wearing a light brown jacket and a green cap and carrying a black bag. Tellers at Seacoast also described him as scruffy and said he had a cut on his cheek.
