WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -  A woman was shot in the neck Thursday night in an apparent drive-by incident in the 1400 block of 9th Street in West Palm Beach, according to police.

More than a dozen bullets hit the home.

Police say a family of five was inside at the time of the incident.

The victim's husband said he was sleeping, and that his wife was in the living room and his children were playing on a computer.

At nine o'clock, 13 shots rang out, blasting through the glass of their living room window. He ran in to find his wife hit in the neck, conscious and screaming for help.

The victim, identified as Remise Mesidor, 40, was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center. She was released Friday morning.

According to city spokesman Chase Scott, police are looking for a man in a green Chevrolet Malibu.
