SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A pedestrian was hospitalized Wednesday evening after being struck by a vehicle in suburban West Palm Beach, said Capt. Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The woman was found lying on the roadway by rescue crews and taken to Wellington Regional Medical Center, Borroto said. There is no word on the extent of her injuries.
The accident happened shortly after 10 p.m. at the intersection of Military Trail and Forest Hill Boulevard.
There are no other details immediately available.
