WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A West Palm Beach school is no longer on lockdown.

Palmetto Elementary was sealed off due to nearby 'police activity.' The lockdown was ordered as a precaution.

West Palm Beach Police were trying to serve a felony warrant at a house on Churchill Road and that is the reason the school was locked down. A person was wanted on attempted murder charges and the SWAT team was called in because he refused to leave. He has since been placed in custody.

The lockdown was lifted just after 2 p.m.
