WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Emergency crews continued checking for hot spots Friday morning from a fire that destroyed a building on 14th Street.

The fire began about 8:30 Thursday night. The building most recently housed American Art Display, an art company that among other things made art featuring golf equipment.

The building also previously housed American Manufacturing Systems until about a year ago.

The building is now vacant with a for rent sign on the front wall.

There are no reports of injuries from the fire.

Flames destroyed much of the building's roof.

14th street remained shut down Friday morning at Spruce Avenue.

The fire's location is about a block west of Good Samaritan Medical Center
