Union treasurer arrested for check fraud

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Timothy Weigle is being held in the Palm Beach County jail on fraud charges.
Weigle, according to his arrest report served as the secretary/treasurer of CWA Local 3112, the union that represents AT&T workers.
Investigators say that from March 2009 to March 2010 Weigle forged 38 checks for over $26,000.
Union officials notified the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office that union funds were missing.
The missing money and forged checks were traced to Weigle according to PBSO.
