Two of three men shot Friday afternoon in West Palm Beach have succumbed to their injuries, according to Capt. David Bernhardt, spokesman for West Palm Beach Police.
Avery Williams, 22, and 24-year-old Jemario Troutman died Friday evening at the hospital, Bernhardt said.
They, along with a third man who has not been identified by police, were shot around 1:30 p.m. in the vicinity of 14 th Street and Sapodilla Avenue. The third victim remains in serious condition at the hospital, Bernhardt said.
The men were taken by friends and family to St. Mary’s Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Bernhardt said police are pursuing several leads.
