SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Two people were taken to the hospital Wednesday evening after a two-vehicle accident in suburban West Palm Beach, said Captain Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
One patient suffered traumatic injuries and was flown to St. Mary’s Medical Center. The other patient was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center with less serious injuries, said Borroto.
Upon arrival, fire crews found one vehicle had struck a Florida Power & Light pole, and the other vehicle in a ditch a short distance away from the pole, Borroto said.
The gender and ages of the patients were not disclosed.
The accident happened at 8:14 p.m. on the 2900 block of Military trail.
