WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - All lanes are now open at Royal Palm Beach and Southern boulevards after a two-car wreck Thursday morning, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
When fire rescue crews arrived at about 8:45 a.m., they found a two vehicle accident with one vehicle on the guardrail and the occupant trapped inside, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Eastbound traffic was reopened by noon.
Fire crews had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate the occupant out of the car.
The patient was transported via Trauma Hawk to Delray Medical Center for with trauma injuries, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
