A semi-truck collided with a Palm Tran bus this morning near 45th Street and Military Trail in West Palm Beach.
There were 14 people transported to seven local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Among the injured is the driver of the semi truck. The rest were passengers on the bus, one of them is a child.
19 people refused medical treatment at the scene and were taken by a second Palm Tran bus to their destination.
More than a dozen fire rescue units were dispatched to the scene to treat the injured.
When Fire Rescue crews arrived, they found that they could not open the doors of the bus.
Crews had to pry open the windshield of the bus to allow workers inside the bus to attend to injured passengers.
The scene is now clear and all lanes have been reopened.
