WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The search for the next school superintendent in Palm Beach County is down to four candidates.

The school board whittled its list down from 24.

Members prefer someone with a doctorate degree and at least 10 years of experience managing a school district of 45,000 students or more.

The remaining candidates are:
 
Dr. Constance Jones

Tom Watkins

Dr. Janis Andrews

Dr. James Browder

It took a total of 3 voting rounds to get it down to these 4. They will all be brought for interviews over the next few weeks. A final decision has to be made by March 1st.
