WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The driver who ran a red light and killed another person Monday morning in West Palm Beach made an appearance in court Tuesday.

A judge set bond for 27-year-old Jorge Salinas at $80,000 dollars.

Salinas, who does not have a valid driver's license, is charged in the deadly crash.

The accident took place at the intersection of Military Trail and Elmhurst Road.

Deputies said Rodlin Hyppolite died after being hit by Salinas' car.

Salinas and another person were taken to St. Mary's Medical Center.

Salinas is charged with one count of driving without a license and causing death, and one count of driving without a license and causing injury.
