WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Texas elementary school principal accused of soliciting a teen for sex in Boynton Beach is now being charged by the feds.
A federal judge in West Palm Beach did not grant Stephen Paulsen bond Friday.
Boynton Beach Police say he thought he was meeting a fifteen year old boy off a social media site, but it was actually an undercover office.
Paulsen's wife was in court Friday. She told WPTV she is also a teacher and has been married to Paulsen for twenty five years.
The federal prosecutor told the judge to keep Paulsen behind bars because there is a risk he will flee and could be a danger to the community.
He is expected back in court on Tuesday.
