Shooting injures one person and police investigating

Police are on the lookout for several people involved in an early morning shooting in West Palm Beach.

It happened around 3 a.m., Saturday.

West Palm Beach Police Spokesman Allan Ortman said the victim was grazed in the head by a bullet and was in stable condition when police arrived.

The victim told investigators he was traveling westbound on Shiloh Road  and Shaker Way, when he was shot by people heading in the eastbound direction. There were at least a dozen shots fired.

The victim was transported to St. Mary's Hospital to be treated.

Investigators are looking for a light colored Cadillac truck and a white older model Buick with a white vinyl top.

People inside the vehicles are considered armed.
