WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Five children were left home alone Thursday morning after the woman who was caring for them went shopping, West Palm Beach police say.
Shanara Jackson faces five counts of child neglect and one count of providing false information to law enforcement.
Police say the children were all under the age of six.
The Florida Department of Children and Families is now involved in the investigation.
Police say Jackson is currently being booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
