WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Spring break for Palm Beach County students begins March 25th and runs until April 1st. Many cities across Palm Beach County are offering spring break camps for kids whose parents must work during the break.
Boynton Beach, Wellington, North Palm Beach and West Palm Beach are some examples of cities offering spring break camps.
Lake Worth currently does not offer a spring break camp, but city officials say they plan on offering one next year. Delray Beach offers a camp for the break, but it's only for children already in the city's aftercare program, according to city staff.
The camps tend to be cheaper for kids who are from the city they're registered in. For example, West Palm Beach offers a spring break camp for residents for $90, and $150 for non-residents.
Camps offer a variety of options for kids, including field trips, movie days and athletics.
Several cities already have waiting lists for their camps, and urge parents to register their kids as soon as possible.
