WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly hit and run that happened Sunday morning.
A vehicle hit a pedestrian just before 5:00 a.m. near the intersection of Military Trail and Roebuck Road, according to PBSO.
For unknown reasons, Darrell JeanRenaud, 24, was lying in the right through lanes of southbound Military Trail just south of Roebuck Road, when a vehicle ran over him and fled the scene.
JeanRenaud was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Deputies have identified the driver as 53-year-old Sheila Bolden and the passenger as Martel McCalla both of West Palm Beach. Charges are pending.
Investigators are talking with another driver who may have witnessed the crash.
