Palm Beach Outlets Mall holding groundbreaking ceremony today

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday for the Palm Beach Outlets.

The new, state-of-the-art outlet center is being built on the site of the former Palm Beach Mall on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard.

This event is invitation only. Attendees must enter the site on the Congress Avenue side of the center, which is north of Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.

According to a press release, West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio, County Commissioner Priscilla Taylor, Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches President Dennis Grady will be in attendance.

The Palm Beach Outlets will feature 900,000 square feet of retail space, including 80-100 outlet stores.
