WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Northmore Elementary was on a code yellow due to police activity in the area this morning, according to Palm Beach County School Board officials. The lockdown has since been lifted.

Northmore Elementary is located on 4111 N Terrace Drive in West Palm Beach.

A code yellow represents a need for a perimeter lock down due to a situation whereby school police or city police notify the school that there is some kind of possible dangerous activity nearby.
