NewsChannel 5 wants to make a correction and an apology for a video segment that recently ran in a promotion for a Contact 5 investigators' story. That same video also was used in a graphic during the introduction of the same Contact 5 investigation.

The video that was incorrectly used, was part of an undercover probe of sanitation inside nail salons across our community. A brief segment of the footage came from 'Jensen Nail and Spa' in Jensen Beach. 

We want to make it clear that 'Jensen Nail and Spa' was never mentioned in our story that subsequently aired.  We also want to make clear, according to state records, 'Jensen Nail and Spa' has no violations and has never been cited for any problems.  In fact, the owner meets all of the salon safety and sanitation requirements laid out by the state.

We do regret the erroneous use of footage of 'Jensen Nail and Spa' in our promotion and in the introduction graphic that led into our report.
