PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - A helicopter will spray for mosquitoes starting at sundown Saturday, the Palm Beach County Division of Mosquito Control said.
Weather permitting, 200,000 acres, including populated areas north of Lake Worth Road, from Military Trail to the Glades region, will be sprayed.
The county said spraying is needed because recent rains have resulted in increased mosquito populations. The department asked residents to drain or minimize standing water on their properties.
The aerial spray hot line is (561) 642-8775
