Missing boaters found alive

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - Three boaters who disappeared have been found.

A Navy ship discovered John Land, 48, of West Palm Beach, David Blakeney, 39, of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., and Kevin Wood, 45, of West Palm Beach, 85 miles east of Jacksonville.

The trio took off from the Lake Worth Inlet on a 32-foot pleasure craft named Shade Maker, a blue-and-white center-console SeaVee, Thursday and were reported overdue.

All three of the men are said to be OK - and are now on their way to Jacksonville.
