Good news on the housing market. We ran a story this week noting that median home prices in Palm Beach County are up 28 percent year over year. It is another welcome sign after years of battering from the recession and the housing meltdown.

The article is a reminder of efforts to avoid another housing bubble while, at the same time, encouraging and helping people afford to get into a home in the first place. That debate is far from over. The aftershocks of the real estate crisis are with us for a long time to come.
