WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Rolling Stone is holding a national contest to put an unsigned band on its cover. The Gallery is one of sixteen finalists for the big prize. The winner will receive a recording contract with Atlantic Records and will find themselves on the cover of Rolling Stone (where no unsigned band has ever appeared).
The Gallery relocated from Massachusetts to West Palm Beach, where bassist Dave Mozdzanowski attended Palm Beach Atlantic University. The four-piece recently finished recording a new E.P. called Come Alive with producer Warren Huart, who has worked with national acts The Fray and Hot Hot Heat. The Gallery remain an unsigned band, but is hoping that their status will change soon.
You can listen to music, watch videos and vote for The Gallery on the Rolling Stone website .
The Gallery will tonight at Respectable Street in Downtown West Palm. The show starts at 8 p.m. Supporting bands include Kadets and the Gold Coast. Respectable Street is located at 518 Clematis St., West Palm Beach.
