WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The live streaming of the case on wptv.com was brought into question during proceedings Wednesday.
Before testimony began, the Judge Jeffrey Colbath questioned two jurors about media coverage they may have seen, stating their last name in open court.
Those questions were live streamed on wptv.com.
That led Judge Colbath to hold a hearing on whether WPTV violated a court order barring publishing of the names of jurors until after the case was over.
The station's attorney argued that it complied with the judge's order during jury selection and that the station had no knowledge that the name of a juror would come out in open court.
The judge has taken this under advisement and has not notified WPTV on when he intends to issue a ruling on this matter.
