WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The next hearing for John Goodman, the International Polo Club Palm Beach founder convicted of DUI manslaughter in connection with the death of University of Central Florida student Scott Wilson will be August 29th.
Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Jeffrey Colbath changed the status check from June 3.
Judge Colbath recently reduced Goodman's bail from $7 million to $4 million and removed twenty-four hour per day supervision by Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office deputies.
As part of that decision to reduce bail by $3 million the judge directed the clerk's office to release $1.5 million to H. Greg Goodman and $1.5 million to Betsy G. Abell.
Goodman will continue to wear an electronic monitoring device.
Goodman, who surrendered his passport after his arrest, is not allowed to leave the United States or drive a vehicle.
A jury convicted Goodman in connection with the death of Wilson in 2012.
