WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - JCPenney has announced it will close its West Palm Beach location, laying off 125 employees in the coming months.
The JCPenney in West Palm Beach is located at 1801 Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard.
According to a manager, the store will close on May 1 st.
JCPenney has been struggling to attract customers and has seen large losses in four straight quarters.
JCPenney was the last operating store at the Palm Beach mall.
The nearest locations are in Wellington and Boynton Beach.
