WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - One minute before 11 a.m., crews from West Palm Beach Fire Rescue and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue raced to a home at 918 Bunker Road, following multiple reports of heavy smoke billowing from the house.

Once on scene, crews worked quickly to douse the flames in the back of the house, preventing them from spreading further.

The family had already evacuated, and no one inside the house was injured, according to Batallion Chief Derrick Daniels.

Crews continued to douse the rear of the home with water for little more than an hour to prevent a flare up.

Investigators are on scene to determine the cause of the blaze, although firefighters suspect the fire may have been electrical in nature.

The Red cross is assisting the family.
