WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A big announcement from the Palm Beach Zoo.

It's getting ready to welcome some new babies to the zoo's family.

A Malayan tiger named "Berapi" is pregnant and it looks like she's going to deliver four cubs in May.

Berapi ended up being a great mate for "Mata" who has been a long-time resident at the Palm Beach Zoo.

The Malayan Tiger population is dwindling because of poaching and a loss of habitat.

Zoo officials speculate there are only about 500 remaining in the wild.
