WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Toll prices are rising for Florida drivers this weekend, and that includes SunPass users.
Most tollbooths will see an average of a 25-cent increase.
Toll increases usually exclude SunPass users, but this time, those drivers will feel the pinch too.
The change, which is mandated by law, goes into effect Sunday morning.
The extra cash is allocated for transportation projects throughout the state.
If you pass through one tollbooth to and from work Monday through Friday, at a 25-cent increase, you could pay an extra $125 a year.
