WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Wednesday afternoon, Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher met with Secretary of State Ken Detzner.
Bucher says they talked about several issues. One of them, finding facilities large enough for early voting and adequate parking for voters.
Another issue was the printing of ballots. Bucher says a company is normally contracted to print the ballots. Some of the paper was not compatible with the machines that tabulate the ballots. The ballots had to be duplicated in order to be counted.
So far in the past few years, the elections office has used three different printing companies to print the ballots.
Bucher's concerns will now be handed over to Governor Rick Scott.
The Secretary of State will spend Thursday morning in St. Lucie County.
