WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - What happened to Five Guys Burgers and Fries?
The burger joint's Clematis Street location in West Palm Beach is closed, and it looks like for good!
The doors are locked, signs are gone, and brown paper covers the windows.
The restaurant opened last spring and was open as recently as Monday.
Online at gofiveguys.com the Clematis Street location is still listed, but it is “currently unavailable to accept online orders.”
Next door business owner Willie Butler said all signs of the fast food chain disappeared overnight. He'll miss it, he ate there every other day.
“They’re not open today. People been asking that question all day long. Where did they go?” Butler said.
“It's always too bad to see a restaurateur or business person go out. But sometimes there's a little bit of a natural selection," William Cummings said outside of the closed business.
Multiple calls were made to Five Guys corporate offices to see why it decided to close this location.
No one returned the calls.
