WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A Boynton Beach man was killed in rollover accident on I-95 and Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach on Friday night.

The accident was called into dispatchers around 9:30 p.m.

David Hutto, 38 died on the scene of the accident. 

FHP said, Hutto was traveling northbound on I-95 at a "high rate of speed," lost control of his vehicle and collided with a tractor-trailor.

The impact caused his car to overturn and he was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver of the tractor-trailer suffered minor injuries.

As a result of the accident,  the northbound lanes on I-95 at Palm Beach Lakes were closed for about two and a half hours.

Traffic was backed up for about one mile and diverted at Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard.
