WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The public is turning out at polling places by the thousands for early voting.
Election officials said they've seen record numbers so far -- meaning more people are voting early in this presidential election compared to 2008.
According to the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, a total of 43,601 people voted Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
More than 4,400 people have voted at the Hagan Ranch Road library in Delray Beach.
In other counties, election officials are seeing a huge number of early voters also.
In Martin county, more than 13,300 voters have showed up.
In Indian River County, almost 15,000 people have voted since Tuesday and in St. Lucie County, more than 7,900 voters cast ballots over the weekend.
