Photo released after armed robbery of prosecutors outside of the Okeechobee Steak House

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- An investigation is in progress after two local prosecutors were robbed at gunpoint outside of the Okeechobee Steak House in West Palm Beach yesterday afternoon.

The prosecutors became the victims of an armed robbery after being approached from behind while they were walking from the restaurant back to their car.

The man who approached them pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and began demanding them for their belongings. After getting his hands on a wallet the suspect ran to a getaway car that detectives describe as a gold older model 4 door car. The car then fled the scene eastbound on Chickamagua Avenue.

Security cameras reveal the suspect to be a black male who appears to be in his 20s.
