WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Chaos Bakery doesn't sell your average cupcakes. "Chai latte, candied bacon karma sutra, jamaican bobsled," said Bevely Bernardine, the cook behind Chaos Bakery's unique tastes.

These inventive flavors are the brainchild of the Bernardine family, and their fledgling cupcake courier company, Chaos Bakery. "Once people actually taste them is when we get a good response," said Dominic Bernardine.

Using their income tax refund, the family purchased enough equipment to take their business on the road. "We decided this is it. It's now or never. We bought the bus and had it wrapped, and here we are," said Bevely.

That was one year ago. Now, business is heating up. "If we do a baby shower, we'll get a birthday from that. If we do a birthday, we get another customer from that," said Dominic.

It's truly a family run affair, the Bernardine children help with baking and decorating, and even producing artwork for the van. "Every flavor has a cartoon character alter ego. They all have their own little names. We even have a cartoon on youtube," said Bevely.

The Bernardine's display a never say die attitude that keeps them on the road to success, despite some speedbumps along the way. "You have your driving accidents when they pop up and flip over," said Bevely.

The Bernardine's do hope to have a storefront of their own someday, but for now, they're content to make deliveries.
