WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A Delray Beach man was arrested on Wednesday for stalking his ex-girlfriend, according to West Palm Beach police.
Christopher Philo, 43, violated a no-contact order, according to police.
Philo began harassing and threatening his ex-girlfriend in March, the victim told police.
The ex-girlfriend told police that she received hundreds of unwanted text messages and telephone calls. Some of the calls included threatening voice-messages, and in the background, sounds of what appeared to be gunfire could be heard, according to police.
The victim’s current boyfriend and his family also received harassing telephone calls from blocked telephone numbers, according to police.
Philo would also drive by the victim’s home, according to police.
Police say Philo contacted them numerous times requesting to check on his child at the victim’s home, claiming the victim was a drug addict.
On October 16th, Philo was arrested and charged with aggravated stalking in violation of the no-contact order.
Philo is currently being held without bond at the Palm Beach County Jail.
