WEST PALM BEACH -- Christmas is one of the busiest travel holidays of the year and depending on where people are traveling, it may be a long trip home for some.

Snow storms in the Midwest has grounded some flights and left thousands stranded including people who need to be picked up from the airport. Those passengers may have to wait a little longer for their rides because some drivers are snowed in.

Some airports are active loading only, meaning travelers must be ready to get in a vehicle with their luggage when their ride arrives.

Palm Beach International Airport is experiencing a few delays for departure and arrival flights.

Airport administrators said passengers should arrive at least 90 minutes before their flight leaves.
