SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A child was hospitalized Saturday evening after being struck by a vehicle at the South Florida Fairgrounds in suburban West Palm Beach.
Rescue crews received a call around 6:40 p.m. of an accident involving a pedestrian at the Fairgrounds at 9067 Southern Boulevard. Upon arrival they found an injured child, said Capt. Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach Fire Rescue.
The child, whose gender and name were not released, was flown to St. Mary’s Medical Center via Trauma Hawk, Borroto said.
There is no other information available at this time.
