WEST PALM BEACH - A West Palm Beach woman has claimed a $3 million prize in the Florida Lottery’s Gold Rush Tripler scratch-off game, lottery officials annuonced Friday.
Cecilia Yusko, 50, purchased her winning $20 ticket at the Kwik Stop at 6282 Forest Hill Boulevard in Greenacres.
She chose to receive her winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of just under $2 million.
She told lottery officials that she still is in disbelief that she won.
“When I scratched the ticket and noticed I won, I could barely believe it was true! My husband could tell that I won as soon as I got home because I was unable to talk as I showed him the ticket!, she said.
Lottery officials described Yusko as a regular Florida Lottery player who has won several $1,000 prizes and a $2,000 prize.
