WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Palm Beach Gardens and West Palm Beach police are investigating an overnight carjacking where the victim was stuffed in a car trunk.

According to police,  the carjacking began in Palm Beach Gardens and ended in a crash near an ATM in West Palm Beach.

Palm Beach Gardens police say it started at approximately 3:30 a.m.  in the corner of Northlake Boulevard and Military Trail.

That's when they say the three carjackers with handguns approached and entered a Hyundai.

One of the two victims was put in the trunk of the car.

The other was ordered to drive to an ATM and then a second location. En route to the second location, the car was involved in a crash.

The carjackers took off. The victims were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities are searching for three men.
