WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A car was pulled from a canal off of Boyd Street in West Palm Beach Wednesday morning.

Rescue crews searched the vehicle to see if it was occupied, but did not find anyone inside.

A Tri-Rail rider reportedly spotted the vehicle.

West Palm Beach police dispatchers told the Palm Beach Post that the car was reported stolen by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office this morning. The car had a designer license plate on the front that reads "Big Welk," the Post reported.
