A gunman fired several shots at a pair of police officers, hitting one, and held two hostages for nearly nine hours - but all came away from the standoff without serious injuries.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - One male patient was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the leg on Saturday night, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says.
The shooting took place at around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday in the area of Westover Drive and Drexel Road. The male patient has not be identified, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says.
There is no additional information available.
