Authorities seek public's help in locating next-of-kin of pedestrian killed Saturday in WPB

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating the next-of-kin of a 60-year-old man who was struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning in the 2600 block of Pinehurst Drive in West Palm Beach.

Stephen Raya, address unknown, was improperly crossing Pinehurst Drive, midblock, around 6:55 a.m. when he was hit by a Chevy TrailBlazer traveling south on Pinehurst Drive south of Forest Hill Boulevard, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office press release.

Raya was airlifted to Delray Medical Center where he died.

Anyone with information regarding Raya’s next-of-kin is asked to call Investigator Karly H. Gallart at 561-681-4541.
