Apartment fire in suburban West Palm Beach evicts family of three from home overnight

SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- An apartment fire has evicted a family of three from its home on Cherry Road overnight in suburban West Palm Beach, Red Cross officials report this morning.

The fire broke out about 2 a.m. Monday. This morning Red Cross volunteers will be helping the one adult and two children, ages 10 and 15, find a place to stay and regroup after the fire, the organization reported in a written release.

Further details are expected later this morning.
