5-year-old almost drowns in West Palm Beach hotel pool

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A 5-year-old boy was taken to hospital after nearly drowning in the pool of a West Palm Beach hotel Friday evening, according to Allan Ortman, spokesman for West Palm Beach PD.
Ortman said the child was conscious when first responders arrived at the Best Western Hotel at 1800 Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard.
The child was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center for observation.
