Picture with the Easter Bunny- That’s right, in just a matter of time, the Easter Bunny will be hopping into town. So why don’t you just go ahead and beat the crowds this weekend, by heading to the Indian River Mall (6200 20th Street, Vero Beach), and taking a picture with him. After your picture take part in the festivities including lunch from Chick-fil-A, face painting, crafts, games and more. You don’t want to miss this, “Hop-portunity!” $10 per child, 10a.m.-12p.m.
St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival - One of the largest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Florida, this year's festival and parade plans to be bigger than ever. Over 150,000 people plan to flood downtown Delray Beach this weekend for all of the festivities. Wake up early, and get your spot along the parade route, as the leprechauns will start marching down Atlantic and 7 th Ave. around 2 p.m. Saturday. South Florida Pet Expo - It’s time to dedicate this weekend to yourself and your four-legged friend. Make your way out to the South Florida Expo Center (9067 Southern Boulevard, West Palm) this Saturday to treat your pet to lots of goodies. The expo will feature a talent and costume contest, discount vaccinations, free nail trims, and even an adoption barn. Free; Saturday 10a.m.-6p.m.
Pap Corps Walkathon and Health Fair - Walking to make a difference. That’s what it’s all about this Saturday at the Paps Corps Walkathon and Health Fair at Florida Atlantic University (777 Glades Road, Boca Raton). Join the Champions for Cancer Research’s 13 th Annual Walkathon and learn more about how you can help, and support cancer research. Pap Corps is the largest all-volunteer organization in the United States dedicated solely to funding research on all types of cancer. And the best part about this event… WPTV’s own Michael Williams will host the festivities all morning. $20; Saturday 8:30a.m.
